Capricorn College Students Cross the Finish line


When you are a students and enrolling for a course you are only dreaming of the day you graduate, the dream came true for 151 Capricorn College Students who were graduating this past Friday 28 August 2015 at Capricorn College Seshego Campus Hall. The bright morning sun shine reflected Joy and Happiness on faces of parents and 129 graduates who were to receive their Certificatesfor NC (V) Programmes also 22 Graduates who received their Diplomas for different NATED Report 191 Programmes. Seshego Campus hall was full to capacity with parents, Guest and graduates during the 2015 graduation ceremony. The event started at 10:00 O clock with the award winning college Choir entertained the attendees, the programme director Ms Agnes Shongoane outlined the programme before the procession entered the hall. 


The College CEO and Principal Mr Khorombi Madzhie Welcomed everyone present and acknowledged the invited guests which included representatives from the regional department of education, Principals of other Limpopo TVET colleges and others, He also welcome and introduced the Guest speaker of the day Prof Refilwe Nancy Phaswana-Mafuyawho delivered the key note address, in her speech sheCongratulated the graduates and wished them all the best in their careers of choice. Amongst the Group of graduates there are those who performed above others, for 2015 the best Achieving student was Mr Negota Emmanuel who was graduating for a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with six distinctions.


The College recognised his achievement by awarding him with a trophy, Laptop, Tabloid phone and R2500 shopping vouchers. The College Council Chairperson Dr Walter Tshamano delivered a congratulatory Message to all of the Graduates and he mentioned that amongst the graduates there were even SRC Members graduating which shows that students have leaders who are serious about education.
